It's an awkward affection for an fictional character, and of course part of me does totally agree with Daria in the episode in which she imagines her future with Trent - not great (until she imagines the cleaned-up version of him and we both fall in love all over again, dammit). But the other part of me just lets out a sigh and laughs at the fact that he's a damn cartoon. It's one of those things I've just come to accept, though, like massive snowfalls and the fact that Charlie will undoubtedly take my spot on the bed in the middle of the night. Some things are just better accepted than fought.

ReplyDeleteI totally have a big crush on Fred and George Weasley..and Ron too! AND especially Professor Snape! Aside from Harry Potter though I have character crushes on the following: Andy Bernard (The Office), Ichabod Crane (Sleepy Hollow). I also crush on literary characters: Hannibal Lecter...yeah he's dangerous and likes to eat people...aside from that he's pretty awesome...Anthony Hopkins played him so well! And one more: Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre. Love him. I have so many more...it gets a little rediculous.
